My stories have appeared in Asimov’s SF, Realms of Fantasy, Fantasy Magazine, Tor.com, Weird Tales, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, and numerous anthologies, including several Year’s Bests. I’m the author of the Yamada Monogatari series from Prime Books and The Laws of Power series from Canemill Publishing, as well as several stand-alones and collections. My work has been nominated for both the World Fantasy Award and the Mythopoeic Fantasy Award for Adult Literature. I’m from Mississippi originally and now live in Central NY in the Mohawk Valley with my wife and a varying number of cats (the cats decide that, we don’t).
